New Roof

Below are the pics of the new roof!!!  Notice the roof no longer has the division in the middle because I had the roof re-framed in order to have one continuous roof line and no odd looking separation.  The roofer found that the existing plywood underneath the shingles was in pretty good shape and just needed to be re-nailed because they were very loose.  Even though most of the plywood was ok, the roof required about 11 new sheets of plywood to replace some of the rotten pieces.  Hope not to have to worry any roof issues for at least 10-12 yrs.

Floor removal

Floors (roughly 900sq. ft. of Mexican tile) were removed the week of October 15th.  The job was extremely dusty and messy that I decided to contract this out to the professionals.  This would have easily taken me a week just to remove the floors not to mention the haul away, instead for $1 a sq. ft., 4 guys worked for 3 days and they took care of removal, haul away and clean up.  It was definitely worth it!  After the floors were removed the demo began and I started to remove kitchen cabinets, wood paneling and drywall.
